Hair Systems
At ZEN Hair UK, We offer completely custom-made hair systems that are designed by you specifically to meet your individual needs and wants, we use only real hair and attributes such as colour, length and texture are amongst the many customizations you can make. We pride ourselves on the quality and affordability of the hair systems we provide; these systems come with a warranty of 3 Months, and depending on usage and care taken with the system by the user, they can last longer.
The Process
ConsultationThe process involved in getting a new hair system in brief is as follows; there first is a consultation to discuss your current situation in regards to your hair at which point we will advise you on the type of system required whether it be a full or partial and the general type of hair required, this will depend on your current level of hair and type remaining on your head. Any questions that you may have about the hair systems can be asked during this consultation too. Don’t worry about asking many questions no matter how trivial they might seem as we are completely understanding of the big decision in purchasing a hair system can be, our goal is to make the experience as easy and worry free as possible. If during the consultation you do not wish to go ahead and arrange a system purchase and would like to take time to think about it or decide not to, then this is no problem as we will not at any point hassle you into purchasing a system as this goes against our company values, we can arrange a follow up consultation to arrange the custom attributes of the system at a later date if you decide to pursue wearing a system.
CustomizationIf you do however decide to go through with purchasing a system during the consultation or decide prior and wish to have the consultation only to specify the custom system that you want then we will start by taking a mould of your head which serves as the foundation for the system. This only takes a few minutes and will not affect your existing hair other than to press it down. The purpose of this mould is to create a hair system that is made to fit to your head exactly so that the bond between the system and head is as close as possible to the contours of your head, this will ensure a strong fit to your scalp using adhesives or tapes. We can then start the fun part; choosing the type of hair that you want. During this stage, you make all the custom selections for the type of hair you want, we will advise you but ultimatly you are free to choose all attributes.
AttachmentThe hair system itself is attached to your head forming a solid connection between the base of the system and your scalp. The method used to attach the system is dependent on your choice and which adhesive your scalp works best with, the level of physical activity you partake in and how long you wish the system to stay on your head between Re-grooms should also be taken into consideration in choosing the bonding method. Attachments of systems usually last anything from between 3-4 weeks but how often you decide to have a re-groom is at your discretion.
Ordering & First fittingThe system that you order will be available from between 4-6 weeks from the point of order. We require a 50% deposit with the rest made payable before the fitting of the system. When the new system is fit, we will need to cut the hair to your preferred length and style as the hair length of a new system is always long so that you can choose the length of the hair.We advise that you have it longer rather than shorter, as of course we cannot make it any longer once we have cut it for the first time but we can of course make it shorter if it turns out to be too long.
